last post

hey all. this is my last post for the semester. hope you all had a good time. i had some struggles but i am almost out of the woods. this is the last work i have to do. i have turned in my essay 6 so all i have is my final blog. if anyone reads this i would like to wish you success in all that you do. i do hope that God will bless you in all that you do. i am going to start a new job tomorrow and i am really not looking forward to it. i do not know if they have found Madeleine or not. i was going to try and see today but i have not found the time. i really hope i get a good grade in this class. i got an a and a b so far. a good grade here would really bring my grade point average up. i am going to save this as a draft. i am typing this in the car. i am sure that the internet has kicked me off by now. i really enjoyed doing my classwork on the internet. the only thing i did not like was that i did not get to meet anyone in the class. i really like getting know people. i really help people lighten up in class. everyone in my speech class was glad i was there. they said i made it look so easy. it was kind of a challenge but it was well worth it. i wish you all good luck and take care. thank you. scott

hey all

hey all. how is everyone. i am not going to capitalize any words. i have some very important words and do not want them to wait to be posted. there is a missing girl in Portugal. i just found out this morning. even if you are not a praying type of person, please pray for her and her family. i cannot imagine the horror this family is going through. you can log in to my space and type in find madeleine. this is a very sad case. this hits very close to home. this post may never be read but if you read it please do whatever you do for this family. i do not know why this has caught my attention but it has. i am sure there are American girls that are missing and i will now pray for them also. please make it home safe madeleine, you are in my prayers.
also please pray for my friend Scott. he is having heart surgery today in Minnesota. he seems to be in good spirits but is in for a long recovery.
on a lighter note, school is almost done. i have a final tonight and i have to write essay 6. i am going to rewrite a paper i got a low grade on and hopefully bring it up. gotta go and study for a final. God bless and have a good day

A little early

Hi everyone. I am posting this a few days earlier than normal. It is still raining outside and is suppose to clear up tomorrow. I have a lot of work to do on my aunts truck. I am going to try and get the motor back in. I still have about an hour or so before it will be ready. I hope it does not get to hot. I also have to put another set of pads on another aunts car. Thanks Oreily's. They are the biggest junk I have ever used. I put a set on my van and they squealed a little. I just figured I got a bad set. I put some on my aunt's car and they are horrible. I think I have learned my lesson again. life time warranties are good, just not on car parts. How is everyone else doing. I have not been able to read anyone else's posts. I have really wanted to but just cannot keep up. I hope tha everyone is doing alright. I am currently looking for a job. I sure do miss working at General Electric. I always had money. Oh well. i am going to start on my essay five now. Everyone who reads this have a good weekend. Be safe and God bless.

Brother Westbrook

Hello all. We just had a missionary at our church and man was he awesome. He is trying to raise money to go to Australia. He really spoke to me tonight. He showed us biblically how we are here for one purpose and one purpose alone, and this is to win souls for the Lord. He had great illustrations how God should come first in everything we do. If it were not for God we could not do anything. My pastor has a good illustration he likes to use. He will tell us all to take a breath. Then he says, if it were not for God, you could not do that. God gives us everything. I now believe that everything I do from now I will try and put God first. Brother Westbrook also told us how God will let us know if we are doing something we should not be doing. If we are doing something that we did not ask God to bless, we probably should not be doing it. This is really a great illustration. There were some things in my life that I did that I would not want God to bless. I will do my best to no longer do these things. I am trying to turn over a new leaf. I believe God will bless me and show me where he wants me to go with my life. I have often questioned where should I be and what should I be doing. I will add this to my daily prayer and ask God for the answer. God knows what we need before we ask. I was really touched this evening and I wanted to share. If anyone who reads this has any questions about your faith, please do not hesitate to send me a message or email. We have an awesome tract that explains how to get saved. I would like for anyone that would like on to let me know. Thank you, and God bless.

Woo hoo

The semester is almost over. I cannot wait. I am so sick of school I will probably not come back. This is in big part because I am not learning a darn thing. The SWIC classes are a joke. I want to go to SIUE but you have to have a certain gpa and so many hours. I am 4 hours away. This is very aggravating. It seems like I have so far to go. It would not be so bad if I could concentrate on school. Now I must try to find a job. My wife is almost good enough to take the kids to school so this should help. I am looking for a job that does not require the use of my body. I am 31 years old and I feel like I am 50. There has go tot be something out there. I must find the right person to lead me there. This is how it works. You must know somebody to get good jobs. My best job was at General Electric. I got this job because of my cousin in law. I repaired a car for him and he put in a good word for me. They had a test i had to take. I did better on the test than the college graduates did. I was actually hired before 5 of the college grads. It did not help me at layoff time though.
Alright now that I am done complaining, how about this weather? Wait. Is anyone really reading this? I bet not. I am going to bed. If you read this please post. If not that is ok. This is just like all the other Swic stuff, totally useless.

another blog

I am posting again. I do not know why but I am. I do not have time to read other students, therefore I do not expect them to read mine. I really wish we could get our essays back. I do not know if i am passing, failing or what. Oh well typical of community college. I am trying to go to SIU and only need 4 more hours. This will be better. I sold my 4-wheeler yesterday. I miss it already. With my wife having surgery and me not able to work, we have no money. By selling my bike, we are good for another week. It is amazing how things have a way of working out. God gives us what we need when we need it. He knows us better than we do. My pastor just said last week that God knows what you need before you even ask. I must say that Saturday morning when I got up I was worried. Then I just went to my computer listed some items for sale and then my 4-wheeler was gone. I always said i would never sell my toys for money again but my girls come first. They do not understand why it had to leave but I hope someday they will understand how much I love them. They are the reason that I do not race anymore. I really love to do it but I must be there for them. This is hard trying to eat a hamburger and brat and type. Well i guess I have said enough . Good night.

finally

hello everyone. thank you for the comments on my last post. i am going to try and post some comments on your blogs but i just have no time. my wife is recuperating pretty good. i finally got my computer working again. i had a free upgrade to vista and i installed it. this was a bad thing to do. i was late turning in 2 papers because of it. i am so mad at Microsoft. i called them first and then they sent me to hp. then hp tried to tell me to call Microsoft. i was on the phone over 2 hours and then i spent 4 hours reinstalling back to xp. i should have known better. live and learn i guess.
i have been taking the kids back and forth to school. this is more work than i thought it would be. i am ready to get a new job. it is fun and all but i want to go work, not to mention i am out of money and my house payment is due.
why is it so cold? i had to go to town and man is it cold. i am ready for a good spring. i have been fishing twice already and only caught one bluegill. my friend Greg is suppose to go fishing in Kentucky this weekend. hahaha he is going to freeze. he usually goes once every other month and i am jealous. that is not fair to laugh at him for freezing but he laughs at me for freezing when i go 4 wheeler riding and freeze in the rain. he is a good guy. i have to go and work on the reading assignments that are due tonight. have a good day and i will write more tonight.
