Brother Westbrook

Hello all. We just had a missionary at our church and man was he awesome. He is trying to raise money to go to Australia. He really spoke to me tonight. He showed us biblically how we are here for one purpose and one purpose alone, and this is to win souls for the Lord. He had great illustrations how God should come first in everything we do. If it were not for God we could not do anything. My pastor has a good illustration he likes to use. He will tell us all to take a breath. Then he says, if it were not for God, you could not do that. God gives us everything. I now believe that everything I do from now I will try and put God first. Brother Westbrook also told us how God will let us know if we are doing something we should not be doing. If we are doing something that we did not ask God to bless, we probably should not be doing it. This is really a great illustration. There were some things in my life that I did that I would not want God to bless. I will do my best to no longer do these things. I am trying to turn over a new leaf. I believe God will bless me and show me where he wants me to go with my life. I have often questioned where should I be and what should I be doing. I will add this to my daily prayer and ask God for the answer. God knows what we need before we ask. I was really touched this evening and I wanted to share.
