I finally did it

I finally finished building the walls in my new bedroom. I have been trying to get this done for over a year and now the walls are there. This is a good accomplishment for me. I have been so busy with school and doing other things I did not ever think I was going to get done.
I asked my daughter if she wants to have my room or the new room. She says she wants the new room. I am not sure if she is going to get it or not. The new room is in the basement and I do not know if she will stay there or not. She is always willing to do something new but I do not think she really understands that she will be the only one down there.
I still have to put up drywall and ceiling but the framing is all done. I am very happy with the way it turned out. It was kind of chore to do. My basement has all kinds of beams in it that I had to work around. I still cannot figure out how to frame around the one window. It is going to be challenging to make it look right. I have confidence that once I start hanging the drywall I will see how to make it look right.
Just a little information for you. If you are going to be wiring anything, Lowes has 250 feet of 12-2 wire for around $60. You have to be careful. They also have 100 feet of 12-2 wire for $60. This information is for your own reference. I do not understand how you can pay the same price for 100 feet or 250 feet. I just wanted to let you know. Have a great day.

In the first paragraph and the last sentence would sound smoother if you said , "I never though I would get it done" Other than that I thought it was good. And, your closing summary was quite good. It gave a helpful hint to a personal story. Keep up the good work. hg
